Green Building Certifications
When you want to raise the bar above code compliance, Eco Achievers will help you meet and exceed rigorous third-party certification standards. Our experience on hundreds of homes and multi-family buildings makes us uniquely qualified to assist on any residential green building certification process, from design through completion.
Eco Achievers provides energy modeling, testing, and green building certification services for the following programs:
NGBS: National Green Building Standard
NGBS certification is available for multi-family, single-family, new construction, and remodel projects. Eco Achievers has extensive experience with the NGBS Remodel path, particularly for HUD 223(f) refinancing projects seeking the green MIP rate reduction. We’ve supported lenders, developers, and owners throughout the country to achieve NGBS certification for their projects.

ENERGY STAR Low-Rise & MF New Construction
ENERGY STAR: it’s not just for appliances any more. The widely-recognized ENERGY STAR certification is available to a variety of building types, especially residential. Whether you’re constructing a townhome, seven-story mid-rise, or 27-story high-rise, there’s a path for you that produces durable, energy-efficient, healthy homes and units from Phoenix to Portland, Chicago to Miami.
ENERGY STAR for Homes and the new ESMFNC are the basis of many green building certifications. We’ll take you through the checklists, modeling, and performance standards so that your building or project can be an ENEGY STAR.
LEED: Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
“LEED is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. Available for virtually all building types, LEED provides a framework for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement and leadership.” USGBC.org
Eco Achievers specializes in LEED for Homes Low-Rise and Mid-Rise projects. Whether you’re aiming for Certified, Silver, Gold, or Platinum, our team of green building experts can help you reach your desired level of sustainability.
EGC: Enterprise Green Communities
Enterprise Green Communities, in addition to being aligned with the International WELL Building Institute, is a comprehensive green building certification dedicated to supporting the affordable housing community. It combines energy efficiency, resiliency, and the neighborhood at large, and sets ,”… a new standard for design and construction that addresses our changing climate, improves health and well-being of residents, and is economically viable for the long term.” Enterprisecommunity. org
Enterprise Green Communities is core to LIHTC and state-wide affordable housing programs. Eco Achievers supports Enterprise Green projects from portal admin to ENERGY STAR certification, and everywhere in between.
PHIUS: Passive House Institute US
Passive House Institute US (PHIUS+) projects use 40-60% less energy than typical code-built buildings. In addition to exceptional energy performance, the PHIUS+ program creates exceptionally durable, resilient buildings with a focus on indoor air quality and comfort. It’s our pathway to Net Zero and Net Positive communities.
Eco Achievers has been fortunate to work extensively on PHIUS+ projects throughout the last few years. We’ve had firsts in local, state-wide, MF, and commercial projects. We can’t wait to support your team in achieving this high bar of Net Zero building performance.
